This project integrates test application board, core board, driver board and various accessories.
Canaan Avalon miner A11 series, A12 series, A10 series... can test the signal path status, number of chips, ASIC temperature data, ASIC core voltage data, allowing you to quickly understand the status of the computing power board and facilitate maintenance.
Support chip model: A3201 A3202 A3203 A3204.

The test fixture has 2 power supply modes and 2 test modes:
1: PC power mode
This mode refers to the mode used in normal maintenance of the Hash board. Remove the Hash board and use other PSUs to power the test fixture, which is convenient for simultaneous detection and maintenance.
2: Original power mode
This mode means to test the whole machine without disassembling the Miner, and use the original Miner power supply to supply power to the test fixture.
3: Measurement mode
It means that the test fixture only sends a detection signal (about 0.9V) to the Hash board, but does not perform the board sweep test, that is, the alligator clip will not have a voltage output, which is convenient for detecting the Hash board signal path. Data such as core voltage, number of chips, and core temperature will not be derived from this mode.
4: Test Mode
It means that the test fixture sends a detection signal to the Hash board and starts the test at the same time. At this time, the alligator clip will have a voltage output, and the Hash board will run and heat up. This mode can test the core temperature, core voltage and number of chips.

The following is a brief description and interface function definition diagram:

1: Voltage display
Displays real-time voltages in PC test mode.
2: Function switch button
Select measurement mode and test mode, press to enter measurement mode, reset to test mode
3: Hash board status indicator
The indicator lights have different colors to represent different power states, please refer to the video tutorial.
(see the video tutorial at the end of the article)
4: Original power mode test button
When using the original power mode for testing, please use this button as the trigger button.

5: Foot switch connector
For connecting the foot switch, it is convenient to use the foot pedal, no need to manually trigger the test button, and the operation is simple.
6: DC12V power connector(6pin*2)
Do not connect the original power supply to this interface, otherwise it may cause the device to burn!
This connector is used in PC power mode. Due to the higher voltage, two 6pin cables must be connected at the same time.

7: Power output positive pole
Connect the positive pole of the power supply of the hash board
8: Power output negative pole
Connect the negative pole of the power supply of the hash board
Warn:
The power cord and alligator clips must be connected correctly and securely. Poor contact has the risk of burning the equipment and hash board, please pay attention!

9: 14pin data interface
For models with 14pin IO interface, such as 1066pro 11 series and 12 series.

10: 20pin data interface
For earlier models

11: Original power interface
Do not connect PC power to this interface, otherwise it may cause the device to burn!
This interface is used to power the test fixture with the PSU that comes with Miner, unplug the 6pin cable of the control board of the miner, and connect it to the test fixture. Power the hash board using the conductive strip that came with the miner. This mode does not require disassembly, and the hash board can be tested separately.

12: USB interface
It can be connected to the USB serial port of the computer, and the test results can be viewed on the PC monitor.
13: Model Switcher
The switch is an 8-bit encoder, we only use 3, 4, 5, 6, (1, 2, 7, 8 do not toggle, please keep the original position as shown in the picture)
The chip model corresponding to the selector:
3: A3201
4: A3202
5: A3203
6: A3204

(The picture is opened on No. 3 by default, then the chip selection is A3021)

——————————————————————
Testing process:
PC mode: For example, the hash board chip model is A3201

1: Supply power to the test fixture, insert the foot switch, and connect the USB serial port to the computer if necessary

2.: Move the ASIC selection switch to the correct position.

3: The main output power supply is divided into positive and negative clips to the hash board, red is positive, black is negative.
(Please note that the cable connection must be correct and firm, otherwise the test fixture or hash board may be burned out)

4: Connect the cable to the hash board according to the type of the hash board cable interface

5: Step on the foot switch and do not release it: (The test mode and the measurement mode are switched in the PC mode switch)

6: Test mode: start the test, there will be main power output after 4 seconds, and the power will be automatically turned off after the test is completed.
The test results will be fed back to the LED and serial port printing information.

7: Measurement mode: the main output will be generated immediately when you step on it, the test program will not be started, and the power will be turned off immediately when you release it.
In this mode, when the power board is powered on, the C signal always has data transmission, which is convenient for finding problems.

8: Original power supply mode: This mode is generally used for on-machine testing, using the original conductive strip, without dismantling the power board.
Insert the 6PIN head of the original power supply into the test fixture, insert the cable into the hash board, turn on the power, press the original power mode test switch to start the test, and the test result will be fed back to the LED and serial port to print information.

In either case, the negative plate of the main output must not be badly connected or reversely connected, otherwise it may cause irreparable losses.
The PC power input port of the test fixture and the original power input port are of different voltages, and it is forbidden to mix them, otherwise the test fixture will be burned, please be sure to follow it!

Important hint:
For greater compatibility and stability, we have upgraded the internal board layout and the connector interface has changed a few times, but they function the same.
We've listed the interface maps for the new version, sorted by previous versions for easy identification. If you have any questions, please contact THANOSMINING after-sales technical customer service, WhatsAPP: +8615823656500
